Technical specifications

First and foremost, make sure that your data feed includes information on the language or destination country.

It is this information that Shipup uses to display the notification in the appropriate language. 🌍

How do we detect your customer's language?

1. We look for the language indicated in the order information. The "order.language_code" field will tell us which language to display.

2. If 1 is not possible, we then defer to the language of the destination country ("shipping_address.country_code" field).

3. If 1 and 2 are not available, or the language is not available in Shipup, we send the notification in the default language set in your general settings.
